Thank you for choosing to book with The Garsdale Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you.


When you make this booking you are entering into an agreement with us, so if you need to make any changes to your booking please contact us as soon as possible.

Please read our terms & conditions below.

The tariff cost includes accommodation & breakfast unless otherwise stated on the booking form. All extras such as evening meals, packed lunches, telephone, etc. are charged in addition to the initial cost.


We accept the following methods of payment: cash, cheque with bankers card, bacs on-line & most major debit / credit cards. However ALL cards are subject to a 2% surcharge &  Amex 3% surcharge.

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract & any deposit you have arranged to pay or paid is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible. For cancellations made more than 14 days before your due arrival date you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time, or by failing to take up any or all of the booking without cancelling, you will be liable for the total amount.

If, after cancelling a booking & paying the total balance, we are able to take another booking for the full duration of your cancelled booking we may at our discretion reimburse you the total balance less the deposit. For this reason you should consider taking out appropriate insurance, which can be obtained from any good insurance broker.

If we have to cancel your accommodation for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

All bookings made that include a Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday are for a minimum of a 2 night stay, unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking and confirmed through our booking form.

We ask all guests to arrive after 4:00pm, however arrivals outside of this time are usually possible, but only by prior arrangement. If you are delayed and/or expect to arrive later than 10:30 pm please ensure you contact us to let us know what time you expect to arrive.  Failure to notify us may result in the premises being closed and your booking may be treated as a cancellation, please see our cancellations and Insurance policy section above.

Please could all guests be ready to leave their accommodation by 11:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged we reserve the right to charge for any guests leaving their rooms after this time.

Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure. Receipts are available on request.


Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible & liable for any missing items, breakages or damages, which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair, replacement or making good if the loss, damage or breakage is significant.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or employees.


Our entire bed & breakfast premises is strictly non-smoking.


Any information gathered during the course of your booking may be held on computer but will not be shared with any other party. However we may from time to time, with your permission, contact you with promotions or offers, which can also be found on our website: www.thegarsdale.com.
